Robert F. Sarmiento,
Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in practice in
Houston since 1976. He specializes in career and
psychological assessment, organizational and
forensic consulting, and counseling on career,
work, stress, marriage, family and personal
growth issues. Dr. Sarmiento
has consulted with over 100 organizations
including law enforcement agencies, schools and
businesses. He conducts executive career
assessments for the Houston office of the
international outplacement firm of Drake Beam Morin. Prior to
entering practice, Dr. Sarmiento taught
psychology for four years at the State
University of New York, College at Brockport. He
has also taught at the University of Houston and
North Harris County College. Dr. Sarmiento has a
B.A. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from
the University of Rochester, both in Psychology.
